Security Framework Solution Architect (d/f/m)

A vacancy for a Security Framework Solution Architect (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Commercial in Hamburg. 

Due to expansion of our activities we have a vacancy within Airbus Commercial for an IT Solution Architect within the Roof, Extended Entreprise & Foundation (DSFE) department in Hamburg.

You will be accountable for delivering the global design including technical requirements, principles and models that guide solution design for the security programs managed by the product Security for Programs, in line with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines and Security Framework.  Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth will be key.

You will support the product manager in his strategy definition and implementation.

You will be accountable for the relation between architects from DSDA & DMT on common processes update and on the positioning of DSFE.

Priority will be given to employees whose position is impacted by a workforce adaptation initiative.

More precisely you will work with the Product Manager in charge of the Security for Programs.

Roof, Extended Entreprise & Foundation (DSFE) department is in charge of several products of 

Cybersecurity :

Security for Endpoint : Is defining and implementing the strategy to secure the companies endpoints (Laptops, desktops, Servers,...) with solutions like EPP/EDR, …

Security for roofs : Is establishing the security governance to be shared with roofs  and is helping on the deployment of security solutions.

Security for Programs : Is managing and industrialising big security programs to enable in a most secure way the companies IT outsourcing and the major M&E.

Security for EE : Is insuring the right level of security for majors EE projects like MAPS & NSC. Is positioning the security at the right place in the EE processes (NES, Axess Gate, APCDS,...). Is establishing the Security for EE strategy.

What you will be doing:

As a Solution Architect, you will work as a designer guiding solution design for security programs in line with Enterprise Architecture guidelines and Security Framework.

You will also provide guidance for operational validations (on NES, Applications,...)

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Analyse and understand new business challenges (new organization, new activity, new business model, Merge & Acquisitions, Cross Programmes and functions approach…), and provide new architecture solutions using best of the art combination of technologies

• Participate to build the architecture Vision and Solutions thru the Master Plan

• Participating in all phases of the application development lifecycle

• Be aware of new technologies in link with EE & Cybersecurity

• Contributing to the overall company target to manage Data as an Asset

• Managing or validating Data Architects actions related to security and risks

• Being the link between IT governance, innovative solutions and new initiatives (inside/outside airbus): technologies trends monitoring and sharing knowledge with the team (Information & Knowledge management)

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline

• Demonstrated experience

• Project management experience (definition and implementation and/or data and

• architecture set up)

• IT component integration

• Risk based approach, creative and Innovative thinking

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and

• present them

• Team Player and collaborative mindset

• English language at negotiation level, other languages would be an asset
