An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Training Development Instructor has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac.
You will join the STTMO Department.
The jobholder will contribute to Airbus Maintenance Training by designing, specifying and leading the development of leading-edge cost-efficient training solutions as required by Airbus Maintenance Training strategy, meeting business needs and regulatory requirements and demonstrating compliance with Airbus Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE) procedures.
The jobholder is accountable for the On Time (OT), On Cost (OC), On Quality (OQ) completion of the activities and delivery of the outputs described below.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Development, production and content analysis (70% of your mission):
Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in order to justify the content and duration of the maintenance training courses,
Analyzing the impact of Airworthiness Directives (AD), Design Modifications (MOD), customer and instructor feedback, safety issues, and In-Service issues in the maintenance training courses, material and means,
Identifying customer needs, opportunities and trends to propose innovative maintenance training products and services,
Participating in the creation of the theoretical (syllabus/router) and practical element (practical training record) of the courses taking into consideration Airbus Maintenance Training Reference and regulatory framework,
Maintaining his/her qualifications as instructor following the required continued training.
The development and production part will be leaded like projects, because the jobholder will be responsable for the planning, the resources, the risk management and oppotunities.
Delivery of training courses (30% of your mission):
Assessing the selection of training means and teaching methods to cover the training objectives and producing the maintenance training specifications, including the technical requirements and pedagogical approach, for the development of the training material and training means,
Validating training material and training means to ensure compliance with specifications and supporting the courses approval and/or qualification,
Delivering and teaching the courses
This role will involve some travel for business worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills :
Five years' experience on aircraft maintenance (Part 145 environment)
Technical knowledge/experience in Airbus aircraft types Avionics systems,
Three years' experience in project management will be an asset for the role
Language skills: Negotiation Level of English.
Desirable and preferred qualifications:
EASA Part 66 CAT B2 Aircraft Maintenance License, including Airbus aircraft types.
EASA Form 4 or pertaining to EASA Part 147 MTO List of Instructors.
