Context:
The vacancy for this position has arisen in Information Management Team within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse, France (other locations possible: Elancourt, France; Stevenage, UK). The roles and responsibilities of the position will focus on the SAP migration project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery. Major tasks will be to provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria. You will have to ensure adherence to project management methodology best practices (waterfall full & light, Agile), perform Project Management Reviews following the Airbus PPM (project portfolio management) methodology.
Your first assignment will be to manage the full lifecycle of the SAPHIR migration project in the frame of the strategic ERP Roadmap program: through process harmonization and benchmarking against best practices, the ERP Roadmap program is transforming our business. It simplifies and modernizes the ERP tool landscape and its surrounding systems. This will increase transparency, compliance and efficiency, and reduce operating costs and working capital employed. Most importantly, we are becoming "Fit for Future", with the ERP Roadmap Program strongly linking to the DDMS initiative as well as to our running legacy tool suite.
You will have to ensure the adherence to the SAP Airbus DS template as well as managing the migration in the context of all AD home countries being involved respecting the national data classification requirements. Additional major challenge will be the integration of the industrial components notably Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing Execution, Manufacturing Engineering into the entire landscape including connectivity with product lifecycle management systems (e.g., PTC Windchill) and manufacturing execution systems (SAP ME, DELMIA Apriso).
